FIRM PROFILE
Pierce & Shows was founded in 1992 when Christopher Shows left the insurance defense field to join the 15-year-old litigation practice of James W. Pierce, who has since retired. Peter T. Dudley joined the firm in 1998. At that time, the firm expanded its practice in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, federal tort claims, insurance disputes and estate planning to include business litigation, criminal defense, and workers' compensation.
With strong home-town connections, Pierce & Shows is proud to be housed in the lovely Daigre House, a Queen Anne style residence built around 1900. The property was extensively renovated in 1978, and it is a registered landmark in the historic Beauregard Town neighborhood of downtown Baton Rouge.
Working in state and federal courts for over 15 years, Pierce & Shows has the expertise and experience to handle the strategic and tactical objectives of its clients. The attorneys are especially focused on representing the rights and interests of motorcycle riders. They will provide skilled representation, timely assistance, and personalized attention to keep you updated at all stages of your case. Pierce & Shows has made a mark for itself in motorcycle accident cases, and it continuously strives to obtain the maximum amount of compensation for each of its clients.
